Murder Investigation and Arrest in Carlisle County

(Bardwell, KY) - On March 3^rd 2008 at approximately 8:20 PM, Kentucky State Police received a 911 call advising of a shooting that had taken place on County Road 1029 in Carlisle County. Kentucky State Police and the Carlisle County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene to find Perry D. Warren, 30, of Bardwell deceased in the driveway of the home. Mr. Warren appeared to have been shot in the chest. The investigation revealed that Kenneth Jones, 66, of Bardwell was a suspect in the shooting. As a result of the ongoing investigation by Kentucky State Police, Kenneth H. Jones was arrested and charged with Murder. Mr. Jones was lodged in the Ballard County Jail. An autopsy on Perry Warren is scheduled for later today in Madisonville, KY. The investigation is continuing by Detective Jerry Jones with the Kentucky State Police.
