Arrest of Jason Garber, Robbery Suspect in Graves County

(Pryorsburg, KY) On Friday, February 29, at approximately 10:30 AM, Kentucky State Police received a call from Bridget Ortega stating her house had been broken into. Ortega, who was not in the home while making the call, stated that Jason Garber had broken into her house the night before and was still there. State Police and Graves County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a residence on KY 1748 East near Pryorsburg Kentucky. When officers arrived, they observed a male inside of the home. A short time later, Jason Garber was located at the residence and taken into custody by State Police. Garber was wanted for Robbery of the Dollar General Store in Mayfield on February 26th.

After an investigation into the alleged break in of Bridget Ortega's home, State Police charged Jason Garber with the offense of Robbery 1st Degree and Criminal Trespass 1st Degree. Kentucky State Police was assisted by the Graves County Sheriff's Office. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Thomas Clifton with the Kentucky State Police.
