Drug Arrest in Lyon County

(Hickory, KY) - Troopers T.J. Williams and David Archer were conducting a criminal patrol detail along I-24 in Lyon County. Troopers noticed a registration violation on a 1992 Lincoln Town Car traveling westbound near the 40 mile marker. Upon stopping the vehicle troopers detected several indicators of criminal activity involving among the occupants of the vehicle. After a roadside interview with all occupants, troopers located 1oz of cocaine, 2 oz of marijuana, and $660.00 cash in the vehicle. Drug paraphernalia was located on all occupants of the vehicle. The Lincoln Town Car was seized by KSP.

Anthony Q. Massie (Driver), Mark H. Scott (Passenger) & Ronald M. Schoffner (Passenger) were charged with Trafficking Controlled Substance 1st (cocaine), Trafficking Marijuana & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. All three were lodged into the Caldwell County Jail.

The investigation is continuing by Trooper T.J. Williams and Trooper David Archer of the Kentucky State Police.
