Fatal Collision on KY 924 in Hickman County

(Mayfield, KY) - Ms. Donice L. Archey was west bound on KY 924 when she crossed the center line, overcorrected and came to final rest against a tree. Ms. Donice L. Archey was pronounced dead on the scene by the Hickman County Coroners Office. Ms. Archey's passenger, three-year old Sara E Archey, was transported to Parkway Regional Hospital with minor injuries. Ms. Archey was wearing her seat belt and the passenger was in a Child Restraint Seat. Hickman County Sheriff's Department, Hickman County Ambulance Service and Rescue, and the Hickman County Coroner's Office assisted Kentucky State Police at the scene. Investigation is continuing with Trooper First Class Clint Davis.
