(Henderson, KY) - On Tuesday, December 09, 2008 Trooper Mitch Hampton obtained arrest warrants for the occupants who fled their vehicle after it was stopped for an expired license plate. The Kentucky State Police have arrest warrants for David W. Fruit and Thomas E Westerman Junior in connection with this incident. Mr. Fruit is 18 years of age, has brown hair, hazel eyes, 6 feet tall and approximately 150 lbs. His last known address was the 600 block of 6th street in Henderson, KY. Westerman Junior is 19 years of age, has brown hair, brown eyes, 5 feet 8 inches tall and approximately 145 lbs. His last known address was the Lawndale Apartments in Henderson, KY. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Fruit and Westerman Junior is asked to call the Kentucky State Police at 270-826-3312 or their local law enforcement agency. Both are sought on the charges of Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st, Possession of Anhydrous Ammonia in an unapproved container, and Fleeing or evading police 2nd. Fruit is also facing an additional charge of possession of marijuana.

Trooper Mitch Hampton, initiated at traffic stop for an expired license plate. After the vehicle stopped, all the occupants fled in different directions. Trooper Hampton was able to apprehend one passenger, Joshua Beck. In the search subsequent to the arrest, the unit located a methamphetamine lab in the back seat of the vehicle and additional items used to manufacture in the truck of the vehicle. Trooper Hampton was able to determine the identities of the other subjects in the vehicle. The investigation is continuing with additional arrests pending.
