Death Investigation of a Deer Hunter

(Henderson, KY) - On November 17, 2008 at approximately 12:55 P.M. Kentucky State Police received a call in reference to a hunter found deceased in a deer stand in Ohio County off of Askins Rd. Breckinridge EMS, McQuady Fire and Rescue, and Department of Fish and Wildlife assisted at the scene. After investigation the identity of the subject was determined to be Glen Felton Jr. of Louisville. It appears Felton was lifting his rifle up to the deer stand when it accidentally discharged. Autopsy is scheduled next date, no foul play is suspected, investigation is ongoing.
