Post 16 - 60th Anniversary Celebration

(Henderson, KY) - On July 30, 2008, KSP Post 16 in Henderson celebrated KSP's 60 years of service to the Commonwealth by inviting employees, retirees and several guests to a gathering. About 50 people enjoyed cake, punch and small talk at the Henderson post. Amongst those present, Senator David Boswell of Owensboro provided a speech and cut the first piece of cake.

Several historical cruisers were displayed in front of post to greet the guests.

Trooper Corey King, Assistant Public Affairs Officer for the Henderson Post said, "The successes of the Kentucky State Police are many and the observance of it's 60th anniversary is a tribute to all of the past and present employees of the agency, especially the 25 troopers killed in the line of duty."
