Injury Motorcycle Collision on US 60 in Daviess County

(Daviess County) - Mr. John P. Purcell was travelling eastbound on US 60 just outside Owensboro city limits, operating a 2001 Harley Davidson motorcycle when the vehicle in front of Mr. Purcell came to an abrupt stop. Mr. Purcell tried to slow down to avoid rear ending the vehicle, but instead slid the motorcycle on its side to avoid a collision. He received minor injuries to his arms and leg. Mr. Purcell was transported by ambulance to Owensboro Medical Heath Systems where he was treated and released.
