Pursuit in Russell/Adair County
Date of News Release: 09/22/2008
(Columbia, KY) - At 11:35 PM CST Tpr. Adam Likins initiated a pursuit after almost being struck head on by a Red 1992 Pontiac 2 door. The pursuit began on KY 379 in Russell County and ended at 11:53 PM CST at J.E. Fletcher Road (Adair County) when a Hispanic male drove off road and exited the vehicle. A foot pursuit ensued but the suspect was not located. The operator of the vehicle has not been identified and the Kentucky State Police are still investigating.
