Two Injured in a ATV Collision on Merritt Ridge Road

(Columbia, KY) - Wesley Thompson, age 13, of Windsor, KY was traveling north on Merritt Ridge Road on his Polaris ATV with one passenger (Jesse Owens, age 12). Wesley Thompson's ATV left the roadway and struck a utility pole. Both Wesley Thompson and Jesse Owens were transported to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital by the Casey County Ambulance Service with minor injuries. No helmets were in use at the time of the collision.
