Two Injured in a DUI Collision in Casey County

(Columbia, KY) - Elmer Ramirez age 23 of Lebanon, KY was traveling west on KY 70 when his 1997 Nissan left the roadway and struck a tree. Elmer Ramirez was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured in the collision. Mr. Ramirez's passenger Sarina Sallee age 24 and Maria Colunta age 4 were belted and both were flown to the University of Kentucky Hospital.

Mr. Elmer Ramirez was charged with DUI, No Operators License, No Insurance and No Registration Receipt. Mr. Ramirez was lodged in the Casey County Jail.
