Injury Collision on US 68 in Marion County

(Columbia, KY) - Kimberly Fortenberry age 21 of Russell Springs, KY was operating a 1999 Chevy. Ms. Fortenberry was traveling west on US 68 and came to a stop due to ice on the covered bridge. Robert L. Smothers age 49 of Campbellsville, KY was traveling east on US 68 and lost control of his 1992 Honda on an ice covered bridge. Mr. Smother' vehicle struck Ms. Fortenberry's vehicle head on.

Mr. Smothers' passenger, Elizabeth L. Tungate age 39 of Campbellsville was injured in the collision and was treated and released from the Springview Hospital. Ms. Fortenberry was injured in the collision and was treated and released from the Springview Hospital.
