Injury Collision on US 127 in Clinton County

Date of News Release: 02/02/08

(Columbia, KY) - Calvin Antle, age 50 of Albany, KY was traveling south on US 127 and struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian was identified as Donald W. Godby age 55 of Burkesville, KY. Mr. Godby was putting fuel in his 1991 Ford Pickup on the southbound side of US 127.

Mr. Antle was belted at the time of the collision and was taken by ambulance to the Clinton County Hospital where he was treated and released. Mr. Godby was flown from the scene by air ambulance to the University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington for his injuries.

The collision is being investigated by Trooper Toby Young of the Columbia Post. Trooper Young was assisted by Trooper David Long and the Clinton County Sheriff's Department.
