October Monthly Activity From Post 14

(Ashland, KY) - During the month of October 2008, there were 34 motor vehicle collisions investigated by State Police working out of the Ashland Post in the four counties of Boyd, Greenup, Carter, and Lawrence.
During October of 2008 there were 3 fatalities in the Post 14, which occurred in the three counties of Boyd, Lawrence, and Greenup compared to 6 in October 2007, which occurred in Boyd, Lawrence and Carter Counties. Statewide fatalities stand at 641 compared to 737 for the same time period in 2007.
