Fatal Collision on Industrial Parkway in Carter County

(Ashland, KY) - Kentucky State Police in Ashland is investigating a single vehicle fatality collision that occurred at the westbound entrance ramp of the Industrial Parkway approximately 5 miles east of Grayson, KY. Steven B. Griffith was travelling westbound onto the entrance ramp at a high rate of speed. Steven B. Griffith lost control of his vehicle and overturned several times before landing on it's top near the entrance ramp. Mr. Griffith was ejected from his vehicle.

The Carter County Coroner responded and pronounced Steven B. Griffith dead at the scene. Alcohol and speed are suspected as factors in the collision.

The collision is still under investigation by Troopers Jones.
