Fatal Motorcycle Collision on US-31E in Spencer County
Date of News Release: 03/02/2008
(Frankfort, KY) - A motorcycle was traveling southbound and a van was traveling northbound of US-31E in Spencer County. The driver of the motorcycle crossed a double yellow line in a curve and traveled into the path of the van. The Bullitt County Coroner pronounced Yusuf Cimen deceased at the scene. The collision remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Post 12 Frankfort. The roadway was shut down for 5 hours.
