Franklin County Collision Arrest

(Frankfort, KY) - On Wednesday January 30, 2008 at 10:55 AM, Post 12 investigated a collision on I-64 in Franklin County. Robert S. Hornback of Beaver Creek, OH was operating a tractor and trailer eastbound on I-64. Darrell McDaniel of Lexington, KY was operating his passenger car eastbound on I-64. Robert S. Hornback was in the left lane and moved to the right lane striking Darrell McDaniel's vehicle. Mr. McDaniel's vehicle overturned several times before coming to rest off the roadway. Mr. McDaniel was tranported to Frankfort Regional Medical Center by ambulance. Robert S. Hornback was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence 1st (Drugs), and lodged in the Franklin County Regional Jail.
