Injury Collision at the Intersection of US 51 & KY 94 in Fulton County

Date of News Release: 01/15/2008

(Frankfort, KY) - Robert M. Webb was east bound on KY 94 prior to the collision and Shelia J. Long was north bound on US 51 prior to the collision. It is believed that Mr. Webb failed to come to a complete stop at the stop sign and/or entered the intersection (US 51), thus failing to yield the right-of-way to Ms. Long. Ms. Long's vehicle collided with Mr. Webb's vehicle on the passenger side. The initial collision occurred in the right side of the north bound US 51 travel lane. North and south bound traffic on US 51 have the right of way at this intersection.

Robert Webb and his passenger (Brandon McClure) and Shelia Long were all treated and released from the Parkway Regional Hospital.

The Kentucky State Police were assisted by Fulton EMS, Fulton Fire and Rescue, and Fulton County Sheriff's Department. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Tim Sales.
