DUI and Burglary Arrest in Laurel County

(London, KY) - On Friday August 22, 2008 at approximately 1:10 AM Sergeant Steve Walker arrested Donald R. Fox, Jr., 33, of Corbin, KY on the charges of DUI, Operating on a Suspended Operators License, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and other traffic offenses.
Sergeant Walker was assisted in the arrest by Laurel County Constables Denver Mays and Lonnie Abrams.
At approximately 1:54 AM the Kentucky State Police Post 11 received a report of a Burglary at the Burger King Restaurant on US 25E, in southern Laurel County KY.
Laurel County Constables Denver Mays and Lonnie Abrams responded to the restaurant and contacted employees. After viewing a security video they contacted Sergeant Walker to inform him that the perpetrator of the Burglary was his prisoner, Donald R. Fox, Jr.
Sergeant Walker then began an investigation into the Burglary and determined that Fox had unlawfully entered the business through a window and removed an undetermined amount of cash.
Fox, who is a former employee of the Burger King, was charged by Sergeant Walker with the additional charge of Burglary 3rd Degree.
Sergeant Walker is continuing the investigation and was assisted by Laurel County Constables Denver Mays and Lonnie Abrams.
