Armed Robbery and Arrest in Whitley County

(London, KY) - On Sunday August 10, 2008 at 9:35 PM the Kentucky State Police, Post 11, in London responded to an Armed Robbery complaint at the Fast Trax Gas Station on US 25W in Whitley County, KY.

Upon arrival KSP Detective Millard Root began an investigation that led to the arrest of Douglas Boyd Malone, 36, of Jellico, TN, Josh Emerson Surgener, 23, of Williamsburg, KY, and Todd Evan Bryant, 25, of Williamsburg.

All three (3) men were charged with Robbery 1ST Degree and lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center.

Detective Root is continuing the investigation and was assisted at the scene by Officers from the Kentucky State Police, the Whitley County Sheriff's Office and the Williamsburg Police Department.
