Drug Arrest in Laurel County

(London, KY) - On Thursday April 24, 2008 Trooper Fred Pennington stop a vehicle on the Hal Rogers Parkway for a traffic violation and, upon further investigation, discovered approximately 6 grams of Methamphetamine, $3,600.00 cash, Drug Paraphernalia and twenty (20) Pseudoephedrine Tablets.
Trooper Pennington also discovered police style equipment in the vehicle (i.e. a ball cap with the words "Narcotics Officer" on it, a police style flashlight and a Tazer).
Trooper Pennington arrested, the driver, Dock Hodge, 32, of London on the charges of Speeding, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1ST, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Trooper Pennington also arrested, the passenger, William Jones, 36, of London on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Both subjects were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
Trooper Pennington is in charge of the investigation and was assisted by Trooper Nick Metcalf.
