Robbery of Super 8 Motel Investigation and Arrest

(Pikeville, KY) - At 06:44, Post 9 received a call of a robbery at the Super 8 Motel at South Williamson, KY. The suspect allegedly demanded money from the motel clerk. The accused also allegedly attempted to kidnap the clerk, but was interrupted by a patron of the motel. Both Evaresto Valdelamar and Sherri Wilkerson (suspects in the robbery) were later arrested by the Kanawha County Sheriffs Office (West Virginia) and charged as Fugitives from Justice and are awaiting extradition.
