Murder Investigation and Arrest in Johnson County
Date of News Release: 11/16/2007
(Pikeville, KY) - On October 28, 2007 Timothy Ward passed away at St. Mary's Hospital from injuries he sustained from an altercation October 1, 2007 in Johnson County. On November 14, 2007 Detective Dewayne Price obtained an indictment against George Maynard Jr. for murder. George Maynard Jr. was arrested and lodged in the Big Sandy Detention Center case still under investigation by Detective Dewayne Price.
