Death Investigation at Beaver Junction Motocross in Floyd County

Date of News Release: 10/07/2007

(Pikeville, KY) - Eric Gross, 28 years of age of Coburn, VA, was transported to Highlands Regional Medical Center by Trans Star Ambulance Service due to injuries he received while competing at the Beaver Junction Motocross in Dwale, KY. He was pronounced dead at the hospital by Floyd County Deputy Coroner Greg Nelson. No foul play is suspected.
