Fatal Dirt Bike Collision in Pike County

(Pikeville, KY)- Austin Blake Allen age 12 was operating a Yamaha dirt bike on the right fork of Brushy Road when he attempted to leave the roadway and enter a yard. Austin Blake Allen&39;s dirt bike struck an embankment which caused him to be ejected from the dirt bike and strike a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Pike County Coroner Russell Roberts. Austin Blake Allen was not wearing a helmet. Coroner declined to perform an autopsy. KSP was assisted at the scene by DHP Ambulance Service and Johns Creek Fire Department.
