Pike County Man Charged with 2 Counts of Arson

(Pikeville, Ky.) - At 06:58am on August 31st 2007 Pike County 911 received a report of a fire at the Zebulon Double Kwik. The Johns Creek Fire Department responded to the scene and upon examining the scene requested the KSP Arson Investigator. Then at 12:01am on September 1st 2007 another report of a fire at the Zebulon Doulbe Kwik was received, again Johns Creek Fire Department responded and requested KSP conduct an investigation. Through investigation information was gained that led to the arrest of Luther Edward Abbott. Both fires were determined to be arson. Luther Edward Abbott was lodged in the Pike County Detention Center and charged with 2 Counts Of Arson 1st. Still under investigation by Arson Investigator Detective Parker.
