Pike County Man Arrested

(Pikeville, Ky.) - On March 1st 2007 the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Section and the ICAC Task Force, received a complaint from the National Center For Missing and Exploited Children of possible distribution of child pornography in Pike County.

Investigation by the Kentucky State Police led officers to make an arrest on David C. Wellman of Elkhorn City. Mr. Wellman was charged with Distribution of Matter Portraying Sexual Performance By A Minor (3 Counts); Possession of Matter Portraying Sexual Performance By A Minor (3 Counts). Mr. Wellman was lodged in the Pike County Detention Center.
