Terroristic Threatening 1st Degree Investigation and Arrest

(Pikeville, KY) - On January 16, 2007 at approximately 7:00 am Pikeville-Post 9 received a 911 call regarding a bomb threat against the Pike County School System.

All schools followed their contingency plans and cleared the schools. Schools then resumed without further interuption.

KSP Detective Mitch Adkins continued the investigation and identified the male and female juvenile that made the threat.

On January 17, 2007 at approximately 2:45 pm Detective Mitch Adkins arrested a 15 year old male juvenile and a 13 year old female juvenile at their Shelbiana residence.

The juveniles are charged with Terrorist Threatening 1st degree (felony).

The incident remains under investigation by Kentucky State Police Detective Mitch Adkins.
