Murder Follow up- Brandy Rowe

(Pikeville, KY) Kentucky State Police in Pikeville are continuing their search efforts today for the missing body of Brandy Rowe of Salyersville, KY. Authorities from Pikeville Post and KSP Post 13 Hazard will be conducting search efforts at Gage, KY in the Holly Branch Road (KY 542) area of Breathitt County. Authorities believe her body was dumped in the water near the Holly Branch Road Bridge.

Investigators are asking residents that live along the Quicksand Creek to be observant for the body of Brandy Rowe, which may have washed along the banks of the creek.

An exact motive has not been established but investigators believe alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the incident.

Detective Goble is continuing the investigation.
