Death Investigation in Estill County

(RICHMOND, KY) - On 9/11/2007 at 0643 hours, troopers of the Kentucky State Police Post 7, Richmond, responded to the report of a deceased person found in a residence on Blue Run Road in Estill County. David Rose, the homeowner, stated that his friend, William P. Herald, arrived at his residence at 9:00 P.M. on 9/10/2007 and fell asleep on his couch. Mr. Rose then retired for the evening. Mr. Rose checked on his friend at 6:30 A.M. and found him unresponsive. William Herald was pronounced deceased by the Estill County Assistant Coroner. No foul play is suspected and an autopsy will be conducted. Mr. Herald's next of kin have been notified. The investigation by Detective Bradley continues.
