(Campbellsburg, KY)- On Tuesday August 7th, 2007, Kentucky State Police Post-05, Campbellsburg, received information from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, in reference to a murder suspect that may be in our Post area. The murder was alleged to have occurred in Cleveland, Ohio, and the Cleveland Police Department is handling that investigation. We do not have information in regards to their investigation. This suspect, identified as Edward A. Taylor, white male, age 30, from Cleveland, Ohio, left evidence that he may be in our area. KSP Post-05 personnel were given a description of this suspect as well as a vehicle description and registration number. KSP Det. Sgt. Vic Hubbuch located the suspects' vehicle in the parking lot of the "Days Inn" motel, in Carrollton, Ky. Several perimeters were set up and evacuations initiated, to maintain the safety of the general public, involving numerous KSP Units. While conducting the surveillance, the suspect exited the motel and he was arrested without incident. Taylor was unarmed and acknowledged his identification.
