Felony Arrest on Colonial Drive in Simpson County

(Bowling Green, KY) - Unit initiated a traffic stop of a reported suspicious vehicle on Colonial Drive in the city limits of Franklin. J'Austin Flippin fled on foot and a foot pursuit ensued. Franklin Police Department units assisted and J'Austin Flippin was apprehended approximately 1/2 mile from the traffic stop. J'Austin Flippin was taken into custody and lodged in the Simpson County Jail on the charges of Fleeing and Evading Police 1st (On Foot), Possession of Marijuana, Operating on a Suspended Operator's License, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd.
