Murder Suspect Arrested in Orlando, Florida

UPDATE: (Bowling Green) - On 12-03-07 William R. Haynes was located in Orlando, Florida by officers with the U.S. Marshal's Task Force. He was arrested without incident and will be brought back to Kentucky at the first available opportunity.

Update: Suspect rented a gray 2007 Buick Lacrosse bearing South Carolina Registration Plates 3267CK from Hertz Rental Cars at the Louisville Airport on 10/22/2007. Mr. Haynes was to return the vehicle on 10/29/2007 before 1000 hours, but failed to return vehicle of 1900 hours on 10/29/2007. Vehicle is entered NCIC with Mr. Haynes.

(Glasgow) - The Kentucky State Police is currently investigating the Capital Murder of Luis Rodriguez of Glasgow. Mr. Rodruiguez 45 was the victim of a homicide on 10-19-2007.

Currently the Kentucky State Police are attempting to locate and arrest William R. "Billy" Haynes 61 of Glasgow for the Capital Murder of Luis Rodriguez.

Detectives from the Kentucky State Police Post 3, through investigation and evidence found after a search warrant was executed on Mr. Haynes' residence; met with Commonwealth's Attorney Karen Davis, and a warrant for Capital Murder and Tampering with Physical Evidence was obtained.
