Update to the Injury Collision on KY 185 in Butler County

Update

(Bowling Green, KY) - Andrew C. Gray succumbed to his injuries at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville and was pronounced deceased at 09:00 hours on 11/09/07. The investigation is still ongoing and further details are not being released.

(Bowling Green, KY) - Andrew C. Gray was northbound on KY 185 just past Hunts Church Road when his vehicle left the roadway on the right side. Mr. Gray overcorrected his vehicle and reentered the roadway crossing both lanes of traffic in a sideways skid where James O. Renfrow's vehicle struck Mr. Gray's vehicle in the rear. Mr. Gray's vehicle continued across the roadway leaving the roadway on the left side. Mr. Gray was ejected upon leaving the roadway. Mr. Gray came to rest in the tree line. Mr. Renfrow's vehicle came to rest in the northbound lane. Mr. Gray and the passenger (Emma Hardin) of Mr. Renfrow's vehicle were flown to Vanderbilt Hospital and are listed in serious condition. James O. Renfrow was not injured.
