Burglary Investigation & Warning to the Public

(Bowling Green, KY) - The Kentucky State Police is urging residents in the Hidden River Estates, Neal Howell Road, and Elrod Road areas to be attentive to locking all doors to their residences and vehicles. Burglars are entering residences through unlocked doors while victims are asleep at night and stealing purses, wallets, and other small easy to carry items.

The burglars are only in the home for a few minutes. One such burglary occurred on Farmers Lane in this above-mentioned area. The burglars are looking for easy "convenient" homes to target. Neighbors should report any suspicious vehicles or persons immediately to local law enforcement agencies. If the license plate can be obtained of the suspicious vehicle this would be very beneficial.
