Fatal Crash on I-65 in Barren County

(Bowling Green) - David Lake was southbound in the right lane of travel towing a 30 ft travel trailer. The trailer began to sway causing Mr. Lake to lose control. Mr. Lake's vehicle rotated 360º and went off the left bound shoulder facing north. Mr. Lake's vehicle impacted a rock wall causing the vehicle to overturn and came to final rest on its roof. David Lake was transported by EMS to TJ Samson Hospital and was treated for minor injuries. Mary lake was taken by EMS to TJ Samson Hospital where she was pronounced deceased by coroner Mike Swift. Amy McCoy was flown by life net to the University of Louisville Hospital. Austin McCoy was flown by stat care to Kosairs Children's Hospital. Alcohol was not a factor in this collision.
