Fatal Crash on I-65 in Warren County

(Bowling Green) - Joan Roe was traveling southbound on I-65. Ms. Roe's vehicle swerved from the left lane to the right lane to avoid a northbound vehicle which lost control and entered the median area. Ms. Roe's vehicle was overcorrected and lost control. Vehicle then entered the median overturning several times and ejected several occupants in the vehicle. One passenger (Lori Zinn, age 35) was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Warren County Coroners Office. One passenger was flown from the scene to Vanderbilt. Two other occupants were taken by ambulance to local hospitals in Bowling Green where they refused medical treatment. At the time of the accident it appears that no one in the vehicle was wearing a seat belt. Investigation is ongoing and further details about this accident are not being released.
