Injury Crash on Louie B. Nunn Parkway in Barren County

(Bowling Green) - Joseph Whittemore was east bound on Louie B Nunn Parkway when he lost control of his vehicle after passing a vehicle. Mr. Whittemore's vehicle left the right side of the roadway going into a sideway skid. The rear of Mr. Whittemore's vehicle made contact with a large tree where it came to final rest. Mr. Whittemore was extracted by mechanical means and was stat flighted to Vanderbilt Hospital. Mr. Whittemor was admitted in stable condition. Alcohol was a suspected factor in the accident.
