Attempted Murder and Burglary 1st Investigation in Barren County

(Bowling Green) - On July 4, 2007 the Kentucky State Police received a report of shots fired on Tisdale Street in Park City, KY. Upon arrival Troopers found Terry Conwell lying in the roadway at Tisdale Street, he had received multiple gunshot wounds to his body.
The investigation revealed to Detectives and Troopers that this was a domestic situation and that Terry Conwell had fired a rifle into the residence multiple times, and eventually broke into the residence. An occupant inside the residence, Matthew Pulley returned fire, striking Terry Conwell numerous times.
Terry Conwell was transported to the Medical Center by Barren County EMS, and later transported to the Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN due to the seriousness of his injuries. Detective Forrest Winchester stated that he would be seeking a warrant for Terry Conwell's arrest from the Barren County Commonwealth's Attorney based on Terry Conwell's release from medical treatment. Terry Conwell is currently listed in critical but stable condition.
