Update to 2006 Fatal Crash on I-65 in Warren County, KY

(Bowling Green) - Frank Johnson was sentenced this (6/22/07) date in Judge Wilson's Court to 5 years imprisonment for Reckless Homicide and 6 years imprisonment for Assault 1st all of which is to run concurrent. Further details are not being released. See the original news release below.

(BOWLING GREEN, KY) - Laura Holder's vehicle was stationary on the northbound shoulder of I-65, just south of the 18 mile marker. Frank Johnson's vehicle was northbound on I-65 when the vehicle left the edge of the roadway, entering the emergency strip where Ms. Holder's vehicle was located. Mr. Johnson's vehicle struck Ms. Holder's vehicle in the rear. Both units entered the grassy area on the east side of I-65. Mr. Johnson's vehicle overturned and came to a final rest on west side of East Henry Goad Road. Ms. Holder's vehicle continued eastbound, crossing East Henry Goad Road, coming to a final rest on the east side of East Henry Goad Road.
Mr. Johnson was transported to the Medical Center, where he was treated and released. Ms. Holder and front passenger (Damien Cone) were transported via EMS to Greenview Regional Hospital. The rear passenger (Tysiana Holder, Age 3) of Ms. Holder's vehicle was pronounced deceased on scene by Deputy Coroner Ralph Sizemore.
The investigation continues.
