Returned Verdict-Edmonson

(Brownsville, KY.) -- An Edmonson County Jury has handed down a guilty verdict against Earl Vincent, Jr.
In August 2005, A three month investigation ended with an indictment of Earl Vincent, Jr. on 294 counts of Rape 1st Degree, Sodomy 1st Degree, Incest and Sexual Abuse 1st Degree. On March 14, 2007 the Edmonson County Jury diliberated over 29 of the original counts. The Jury found Vincent guilty on all counts, and sentenced Vincent to the maxium of 50 years on each of the 29 counts, with his sentence to run concurrent.
Sgt. John Clark who investigated the case stated, "This is the same as a "Life Sentence" to Mr. Vincent since he is 64years old." "The Edmonson County Jury sent a clear message to sexual offenders, we will not tolerate this type of activity in our county."
