Felony Arrest on I-65 in Warren County

(BOWLING GREEN, KY) - KSP received a complaint from Simpson County Sheriff's Department about a DUI on I65 northbound at the 8 mile-marker. The vehicle in question was a green 1995 Ford 2 doors.
Trooper Hatler observed the vehicle traveling from side to side, and activated his emergency equipment, and stopped the vehicle at the 19 mile-marker. After initial search of the vehicle, a firearm was located and it was found to be stolen from our agency from a burglary in December of 2006.
Francisco Cervantes-Rodrigues was charged with Receiving Stolen Property-Firearm, Driving from Side to Side, Resisting Arrest, DUI 1st, No Insurance Non-Owner, No Operator's License, No Seatbelt. Francisco Cervantes-Rodrigues was lodged in the Warren County Jail.
