KSP Post 2 Shop With A Trooper

Madisonville, KY - On Thursday, December 13, 2007 the Kentucky State Police Professional Association from Post 2 conducted its 11th annual "Shop with a Trooper" program at the Parkway Plaza Mall in Madisonville. Twenty (20) children and their families were treated to pizza at Godfather's. After dinner, there was a shopping trip to Goody's where each child was allotted $100 to spend.
Post 2 personnel that participated in the event were Lt. John Blanton, Sgt. Greg Jones, Sgt. Bobby Murray, Det. John Komar, Tpr. Dan Morck, Tpr. Stu Recke, Tpr. Derek Smith, Det. Scott Smith, Det. Ben Wolcott, Dispatch Shift Supervisor Christopher Rogers, Dispatcher Martha Clark, retired KSP Dispatcher Wendy Ball and former KSP Dispatcher Leighann Leavell. The pizza and shopping were provided by funds from the Kentucky State Police Professional Association District 2 and private contributions.
