Injury Crash on KY 181 in Greenville, KY

Greenville, KY (Muhlenberg County) - Kevin Burden age 49 of Greenville, KY was operating a 2006 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck northbound on KY 181 when he attempted to avoid a deer. Mr. Burden lost control of his vehicle and it exited off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle struck numerous trees before coming to rest off the roadway. Mr. Burden had to be extricated from his vehicle by the Greenville Fire Department & Rescue. He was transported by ambulance to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment. Mr. Burden was wearing a seatbelt. Tpr. Craig Engler investigated the crash that occurred on December 5, 2007 at 8:22 a.m. The Muhlenberg County Sheriff's Department, Greenville Fire Department & Rescue and Muhlenberg County EMS assisted at the scene.
