Injury Collision on KY 181 in Clifty, KY

Date of News Release: 12/03/2007

Clifty, KY (Todd County) - William Ewing age 62 of Greenville, KY was operating a 1994 Toyota Camry southbound on KY 181 approximately one mile south of Clifty. As he negotiated a curve, his rear tires lost traction. The rear of the vehicle slid into a guardrail. After striking the guardrail, the vehicle crossed the northbound lane and exited the roadway coming to rest in a ditch. Frances Ewing age 60 of Greenville, KY was transported by ambulance to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment. Both Mr. and Mrs. Ewing were wearing seatbelts. Tpr. Jerry Knight investigated the crash that occurred on December 2, 2007 at 11:25 a.m. The Clifty Volunteer Fire Department and Todd County EMS assisted at the scene.
