Inmate From Muhlenberg County Detention Center Escapes While At Dentist Office

Greenville, KY (Muhlenberg County) - On Thursday, November 27, 2007 at approximately 9:43 a.m., the Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville was contacted by the Greenville Police Department reference an escapee. The inmate was at a dentist office in Greenville when he exited a rear window and escaped on foot. He was last seen around 9:25 a.m. on Thursday, November 27, 2007.
Wanted for Escape 2nd Degree (Class D Felony) is:
James C. Savage Age: 42 Sex: M Race: W Height: 5'6" Weight: 160 Hair: Brown Eyes: Brown
Mr. Savage was last seen wearing an orange jump suit and was shackled. His hair is currently shaved. He has numerous tattoos on his body. Savage should be considered dangerous. He was incarcerated in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center for Robbery 1st Degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd Degree and Parole Violation.
