Injury Collision on KY 109 in Hopkins County

(Hopkins County) - Mrs. Joan C. Rogers was traveling southbound on KY 109 north of Dawson Springs. For unknown reasons her vehicle exited the right side of the roadway and struck a road. Her vehicle continued traveling southbound and collided with a bridge end. The vehicle began a clockwise rotation across both lanes of travel where it struck the northbound side bridge face. The vehicle came to final rest facing northbound against the bridge face. Mrs. Rogers was air lifted to Deaconess Medical Hospital in Evansville, Indiana, for her injuries sustained in the accident.
