Injury Crash on KY 138 in Hopkins County

(Hopkins County) - Mr. Nicholas Piercefield was traveling northbound on KY 138 when the right side tires of his vehicle dropped off the shoulder of the roadway. Mr. Piercefield attempted to steer the vehicle back onto the roadway, but overcorrected and went into the southbound lane. He then crossed back into the northbound lane rotating clockwise. The vehicle then exited the right shoulder of the roadway again, overturned and struck a tree. Upon the vehicle's contact with the tree, Mr. Piercefield was ejected and sustained minor injuries as a result. Mr. Piercefield's vehicle came to final rest on its driver's side facing south.
