Single Vehicle Injury Collision on KY 70 in Hopkins County

Date of News Release: 11/15/2007

(Hopkins County) - Mr. Dennis Strange was traveling eastbound on KY 70 outside Madisonville, KY. A deer ran out from the right side off the roadway into the lane of Mr. Strange. Mr. Strange applied his brakes in an attempt to avoid the collision with the deer. Mr. Strange's vehicle struck the deer with the front portion of his vehicle. The juvenile passenger in the vehicle was transported to Regional Medical Center for possible injury to the neck as result of the accident. The accident was investigated by Trooper Derek Smith U/862.
