Injury Collision on KY 70 in Central City, KY

Central City, KY (Muhlenberg County) - Sheila Pointer age 39 of Bremen, KY was operating a 2000 Chrysler westbound on KY 70 approximately 8 miles west of Central City when it appears she fell asleep. The vehicle exited off the left shoulder of the roadway and struck an earth embankment. The vehicle came to rest off the roadway. Ms. Pointer was transported by ambulance to the Regional Medical Center for treatment. She was wearing a seatbelt. Tpr. Craig Engler investigated the crash that occurred on October 17, 2007 at 5:30 a.m. The Bremen Volunteer Fire Department and Muhlenberg County EMS assisted at the scene.
